As COVID19 continues to develop in so many countries around the world, our commitment Is to adhere to the advice from the World Health Organization and to follow the procedures advised by local and international authorities.

The wellbeing of our clients, residents, and team is our absolute priority and you can be assured that health and safety has our complete undivided attention.

All members of the Sentinel team are aware of the current conditions and are undertaking extreme levels of health and safety procedures to ensure that the highest level of hygiene standards are maintained, throughout every aspect of the business, from those in the office to the staff on the roads.

Although we have had no confirmed cases of the Coronavirus in the business, any member of the team returning from any of the infected areas abroad- or those that have family members who have been affected or returned from an infected area have been automatically asked to self-isolate for a minimum of 14 days. These actions have been put in place and acted upon since the outbreak began a few weeks ago.

It is of a vital importance for us to be in the position to ensure that all procedures are in place to support the health and well being of all our clients. We will be following the developments daily and adjusting accordingly with intense scrutiny.

 
Please Note – Fire alarm maintenance

It is a requirement of the Regulatory Reform Order 2005  and most insurers that your fire alarm systems are maintained in accordance with the relevant standards. As a BAFE registered company, we have sought advice as how best to proceed in the current circumstances. 

It is the responsible person/duty holders decision as to if they allow access on site to our engineers to fulfil their fire safety obligations. To confirm the above, our engineers are following the highest levels of hygiene and we are constantly reviewing our processes to manage this throughout the virus.
 
If you have a maintenance contract with Sentinel, our administration team will contact you at the beginning of the month that your maintenance visit is due to book this in with you. If you wish to postpone your maintenance visit, we will be happy to rearrange however we recommend you seek advice from your health and safety advisory and insurance company to ensure that you are adequately covered.
 
Sentinel do offer a 24 hour critical service for life safety systems. We can confirm that if you hold a contract with us and have a fault on your life safety systems, we will still attend to this to ensure your systems are working adequately.
